"Needs upgrade throughout- smells like mold and carpet is disgusting. Staff was not friendly and they rented our room to another guest and we were woke up by someone entering our room. We had to ask several times to have room cleaned since they did not do daily cleaning. Then we got an additional charge to credit card that is unexplained and have left 2 messages to talk to manager. We will not be back "

"We booked this place as a one-night stop during our trip up through the hill country and we quickly regretted not staying longer! The property is nestled in a really nice, quiet area. They have hiking trails near by (which we love), a little shop on-site and a nice hang-out area. We booked a basic cabin, which had bunk beds and a double bed with only a mini-fridge which was just fine for us. The cabin was really clean and the beds were comfortable. This is a place we are really hoping to get a chance to get back to, once the weather warms up a bit."

"Room was spacious for 4 people for an overnight stay. It was clean and functional. The light in the bathroom was amazing … best I’ve ever seen, almost too bright for the small space. :-) Front desk staff were friendly and competent. Parking was just outside our ground level room and was not overcrowded. Air conditioning was good and not noisy in this room. However there was no microwave oven or ironing facilities. The small fridge worked well. "

"It's good value for the price. It's a cool cabin experience. This property isn't as big as you'd think and it's enclosed. The deer roaming around were cool. And I got excellent cellular reception. The $25 pizza with 2 cans of coke was a bit of a let down. The pizza was good but it's TINY. Overall 4/5. Good value."

"This is a phenomenal cabin, it has everything a couple would need for a calm a quiet vacation. This place is about 15 miles from Fredericksburg, fantastic location, a gem for sure. Highly recommend!"
