The International Hotel Killarney

"The staff's service was wonderful however, the property is very old and the hallway makes squeaky noises and disturbs your sleep - it's very annoying and it's like staying in an OLD B&B. It was a 4 star hotel but no refrigerator in the room. Stayed for 2 nights but was noisy at night with the squeaky hallway noises and the voices of the people staying in the hotel. Could not sleep well. Very disappointing."

"The property needs a lot of tender loving care. It seems very run down and neglected. It could use some significant refreshing. Examples -- stains in the carpet throughout the property, including the room. There were stains and even holes in the curtains in the room. Dull fluorescent lighting throughout the property. The staff were just ok. Not rude, but not super helpful either. We were given a handicap accessible room -- not preferred. But we were too tired to ask for another room. The biggest positive is that grounds were very well-kept. We walked along the beautiful paths around the very well-manicured golf course towards the lake at night. I would absolutely pass on this property if I'm in Killarney again."

"the room had the most disgusting smell i had to wear my eye mask around my nose with perfume on it bathroom was minimal there is no security anyone could walk in it's older than old and there's an elevator but one your off it you still have to lift ur bags in many places to get to your room and nowhere to park your car couldn't wait to get out of there"
