We were able to walk to both, and The Richardson is such an interesting building and has beautiful grounds. "Extremely dirty. The hotel smells like a huge dirty ashtray. No towels at arrival. Bathroom not cleaned. Four calls to the front desk and 6 hours later after check-in i finally got a couple of towels with attitude. Shower curtain was gross. Probably weeks since it was changed. No shampoo. Two holders for toilet paper. Only half a roll on one and the other was empty. Garbage cans had no liners and had debris in them. Definitely not with any amount of money. I have stayed at many...

"Unfortunately, this property didn't live up to expectations. The room was very cramped, and the amenities were minimal (just one sachet of shampoo and a small soap, plus no coffee filters). The layout also poses a bit of a challenge, as the bathroom door hits the toilet seat, meaning you have to lift the seat just to shut the door. While having access to a pool was a nice perk, the overall quality felt too low-end for comfort."

"Large pieces of broken glass on the floor outside the closet. Room carpeting was noticeably unvacuumed with plastic tags on the floor from new clothing of previous inhabitant. The safe was also not working. Called the front desk, described my issues, requested another room. Desk manager came up, apologized, handed me a key for a room on a different floor. I showed him the glass he really didn’t care so much nor did anyone help us move to the other room. We made 2 trips, no big deal....
