"Honest review! I would have given this hotel 5* review but one thing let us down. Room was spotless had a fridge everything you need, staff were very helpful. The thing that let me down was luggage hold. We asked a staff member if we could leave our baggage for a few hours before we moved on, the lady on reception said that was no problem and said it would be secure and free of charge, we said we were more than happy to leave some money when we got back anyway as as thank you. So olwe put our suitcase in a little room.that was locked after us perfect! Upon our return a few customers were in the hotel and the baggage room door was wide open with our case just waiting for someone to take. We took it out and never mentioned this to anyone as they obviously bothered who took it. Very disappointed."

"Valet staff were incredibly nice. Male Front Desk staff was rude, kinda like he didn't want to be there. Female Front desk staff were very nice. Hotel concierge-Mixed feelings, helped booked a boat for us, but gave us wrong information about pricing of added options. Wait staff were decent."

"What a gem! This place is magical, beautifully designed and stunning serenity. We were blown away by the whole experience, jaw dropping views and amenities. A slight hiccup with housekeeping when we arrived but it was quickly and efficiently sorted by the apologetic staff. They were all so friendly, kind and welcoming. Food was excellent, rooms were well appointed and spacious. The whole hotel has such a wonderful feel to it. Really truly a special find!"

"They have customer service down pat! From the very moment we stepped out of our Taxi, staff made it very clear, they wanted us to have a memorable stay. They greeted us with a big, bright, smile and a helping hand immediately. We sipped on fruit infused water as we checked in. Once in our room, the view of the planes taking off was awesome to see! Securing car service for our outings each evening, was such a breeze. The hotel has their own car service on hand to be at your beckoned call. It was wonderful. Staff exceptional. Grounds exceptional. It was fun to walk around and explore and keep finding more and more of the hotel."

"Great choice overall , loved the location, amenities, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. Breakfast selection was excellent, and the restaurant Flow was a real highlight, the kind of place you could easily spend all day in. A few small things held it back from perfect: room layout could be improved (no plugs near the mirror for hair/makeup, limited counter space around the sink), and pool-area privacy was disrupted by gardeners cleaning during the day. Room service options felt limited and skewed heavy/fried , more variety would help, especially for warmer weather. The minibar fridge also wasn’t cooling properly, so drinks weren’t cold. There were rubbish behind the pool which could have easily been removed when pool is cleaned too. None of these are major issues, but fixing them would make a great stay even better."

"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."
