"I had the fortunate experience of staying at the wonderful little guesthouse on the beach and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Alagoas or Maceió. The owners are genuinely friendly and welcoming, and the property has a calm coziness to it. Food at the inhouse restaurant was a treat (fresh made pasta and passionfruit juices!), and I plan to eat there even though I'm now lodged at a nearby school for my studies. The room was quite large, the shower was powerful and the hot water worked...

However the whole experience is let down by the poor cleaning and poor state everything was in. Broken tiles everywhere, most of the furniture was broken or very worn, and there was black mold in the bathroom. The bed was rock hard, but the air condition worked perfectly and kept the rooms nice and cool. I wish they at least would have fixed all the broken tiles in the pools,...
