"This was the first time I stayed at the Empire and I must say it was really good. The staff was very responsive and keen. Our room was quiet and well appointed. I must say, the shower had the best pressure washer I ever experienced! The location of the hotel is excellent and everything we needed was just a short walk away. The pricing was reasonable. If I ever need to stay in Manhattan again I will definitely book here."

"This gem of a hotel is perfectly located on the Upper West Side with easy access to lots of things to do, including soaking in the city on walks. The staff is amazing from the manager to the cleaning staff. Bonuses are the bakery and the bar located on property for which you get daily vouchers. Extra points for being able to maintain whatever temperature you want in your room without the dreaded window/wall units that make so much noise. Will definitely stay again."
