"Offered a larger room at check in which was nice and spacious for our needs. Front desk called an hour later to make sure we had everything we needed. There is a decent room service menu and a few restaurant choices close by. As of Mar 2026 there is quite a bit of new construction going on so it may get quite busy. Concierge was helpful to give tips for day trip to Gozo. Didn’t use the outdoor pool in March but facilities look lovely."

"Alexandra hotel From the first impression the hotel looks like a great hotel. But as soon as you check in, you start to see a different perspective. The bedroom area: The room was ridiculously small for the caliber of hotel advertised. There were tiny side tables that barely fit a phone. There was no room to navigate around the bed. A useless desk that had drawers too small for any use and a wardrobe (with its sliding doors that would not work) was too large for the room and unnecessary for hotel stays. If you wanted to turn only one lamp on the side of the bed, all of the room lights went on with it. So, you were forced to function in complete darkness or had full light. We used our phone lights to go to the bathroom so that we wouldn’t wake each other in the middle of the night. The bathroom; There was no shower door to keep the water in while you showered. No matter how careful you were, the tiny bathroom flooded each time. An extremely dangerous situation. You could see mold where there was once a shower door? There was the tiniest sink I have ever seen with no shelves or any space to set up your toiletries. (And they had no hotel toiletries, only a gross soap dispenser, with God-knows-what in it) The walls were so thin that you could hear doors slam all night long and loud partying going on outside until 3:00 am. "Breakfast was lovely there was a great selection. The room was good and the hotel well located for nearby restaurants and easy public transport to places of interest. It was off season so the outside pools were closed but we visited the nearby beach and able to swim. Staff were very friendly and helped make this a great short break. "

"Fantastic variety for breakfast you won't go hungry, especially the bacon . We travelled with 2 small children and the Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and cleaned every day .There sports bar is across the road and has better selection of drinks than the Hotel bar . The indoor pool was great as heated. You need to get blue towels from the spa to use in the pool. Note If you're using the hotel car park, it can only cater for a small car as it's very tight. "

"Rooms were very clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. Pool area could be cleaner and the hot tub was not very warm. The pool closes at 8pm which seems a little early, they could have an adult only time from 8-10pm"
