"Room service didn't show up on day until 5:30pm and only after we made multiple calls. Pool water was very warm. Desk operator very short and a bit rude. Balcony and beach view was excellent. Hotel desperately needs a news stand with things to due pamphlets to provide local activities for guests!"

"I only stayed one night, and only because I needed to be near the airport. GREAT HOTEL for that! Staff was above and beyond friendly, room was fresh, clean and spacious. Returning the rental car and getting to the airport couldn't have been easier or quicker...and the best part.... FREE PARKING! That's the one thing that made me choose this hotel over all the others, but beyond that, everything else is even better. There's also a lot of restaurants around and the front desk staff gave...

"Great hotel, actually built on the property (the Tropicana) where I once ran an art gallery. Sadly, nobody working there, despite the plaque right outdoors, knew anything about the property or its history. Two things. The bar is a wasteland, which is a shame, because it’s clean, attractive and should be buzzing, especially during the World Cup. "The location was ideal but the hotel didn’t clean my room everyday and didn’t even refresh my towels. I had to go to the front desk to drop off dirty towels and request clean towels. I was very disappointed with the service I received for the price I paid.

"We had a wonderful stay at the Barefoot Beach Club. The staff were friendly and wonderful. We had a beautiful ocean view room. The only downside we had was the lack of respect of some of the guests and their children at the pool area. As well as the last evening we were there, children were in the pool after the pool should have been closed, screaming and yelling. The resort itself was amazing, the staff were great."
