"I truly was surprised that this hotel didn’t have more stars. It is a great place clean rooms are huge. The pool. The hot tub were fantastic in the lobby. Has lots of seating area to hang with friends or just play a board game with family great option if you’re visiting the area"

"It's a little off the paved roads and it was towards the end of winter so the dirt road was icy and very wash board in areas. Definitely recommend 4-wheel drive to get there. Everything was amazing at the property except the final hill that climbs to the cabins which had fairly deep ruts, I'm sure due to the time of year and the exceptionally warm winter of '25-'26. There is limited eating options in the area, so plan accordingly. Also note that cooking options are limited in the cabin as there...

"We just returned from our trip to West Yellowstone. This is a wonderful place to stay and I highly recommend it. It is clean, safe, and within easy walking distance to restaurants and shopping. But, do read the property description. There is no dishwasher and there is no air conditioner. 10 months out of the year having no AC is probably not an issue, but Montana does get warm in July and Aug. We had difficulty getting the room cool enough to sleep. "

"We stayed at Best Western Desert Inn as a family of five adults and found it to be clean, comfortable, and very spacious. The location is excellent—just minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park and within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. "Property was next to a garage and abandoned boarded up restaurant. A converted old bus was right next to the building with people living in it. It was not the best part of town. The building itself was nice and well kept. The road to the property was dirt and the parking lot same which was muddy. "

"Very nice, clean, comfortable property. We were there mid-August so the only drawback was no air conditioning. The fans offered relief, but it was a bit warm. Kitchen is roomy and well furnished (plates, cups, glasses, utensils, etc.). Living room is roomy and comfortable, fire place would be really nice in the winter. Comfortable beds and pillows. Close to town, but in a more private, quiet area. Overall very nice and was great for our family of four. "
