Upgrade our suite for an additional £377 that included early check in. But the xtra bed was very uncomfortable my husband ended up sleeping on the couch for 7 nights. So technically we paid a lot of money for just an early check in. At this point we were very tired we had a 12 hr flight and were travelling with 2 children and we got to the hotel at 11 but check in was at 3:00pm. The staff said our room wasn’t ready yet because I suggested I don’t mind paying for an early check in. So i would’ve been waiting around 5 hrs before we got our room. Thats when they suggested we take the suite that was ready with the xtra bed. So I felt I had to take that option because my kids were so exhausted. I think for future reference staff need to be a little more emphatic towards families."
