Great place to stay on Skye
The Isle of Skye is glorious, and our host, Douglas, even arranged for the clouds to burn off letting the sun shine in. The B&B is very nice, with several good, accessible restaurants nearby... a much better base than Portree. The only difficulty was finding the place, even using navigation. Coming from the east, it's a left turn, then quick right on a small road just before the gas station in Dunvegan. Highly recommended.

This is a must-stay place in Skye. The place is quaint and quiet, with excellent, modern, and well-appointed rooms. Not enough good things can be said about Greg and Ann, who were managing the place when we were there. They took incredible care of us. What we felt was above and beyond for a BnB seemed perfectly normal for them. Can't recommend Skye Lodge enough for a place to recharge and see everything Skye has to offer!

We stayed 2 nights at the Skye Lodge and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Greg and Anne. The lodge sits in the most beautiful place. The pictures online don’t do it justice. It really is gorgeous. Greg greeted us like family when we arrived and enthusiastically explained the lodge and its amenities. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. Our bathroom was modern with a heated mirror and the shower was awesome. Anne’s breakfasts are excellent and, as another couple there told us, you won’t leave hungry. The coffee from their Jura coffee maker was just as excellent. Greg and Anne were very helpful with tips on where to go or what to see. There are restaurants and a small grocery store within walking distance. We’d highly recommend the Skye Lodge in Dunvegan. You won’t regret it.

Great B&B on the Isle of Skye
Our hosts were wonderful, cooking up a great breakfast each morning, and offering valuable suggestions for travel locations around the island and also food recommendations. Our room was good sized, cleaned, quiet, and convenient. The Apple Maps location was a bit off, but we sent in corrections for it.

Amazing little getaway
Our stay at Skye Lodge was exceptional. The location was perfect, right next to a few tourists attractions in Dunvegan. Ellie was a lovely host and did a fantastic job while we were at the lodge. The lodge is very modern. quiet and has everything you'll need. There was even umbrellas for ecah person something we didn't plan. The breakfast served is of amazing quality with a lot of options. And sets you right up the a full day of adventure around the island.

Quiet, charming, modern, worth it!
Modern conveniences but still holding the Scottish charm. Breakfast was amazing. Definitely let them cook the traditional haggis and black pudding as any restaurant just didn't compare.

Lovely Stay
We enjoyed our stay and the hosts were very kind and served a wonderful breakfast. We booked a sea view room but didn’t quite understand how small the room was for that upgrade or that the en-suite was across the hall. Had we known we may have booked differently. Still it was a lovely visit and great location for The Isle of Skye.

This stay was outstanding. The hosts were warm and informative about local restaurants and places to go, as well as excellent cooks and available to help me at all times. The home is spacious and modern and my room was so comfortable that I enjoyed staying in on a rainy day and painting!

Great location! Scotland books said to stay in Portree, so glad we stayed in Dunvegan instead. We could walk to The Old Schoolhouse restaurant, which was so yummy and great atmosphere. Also a quick taxi ride to The Three Chimneys restaurant. Skye lodge booked the taxi for us ahead of time. Always make reservations for restaurants ahead of time. Our room was so comfortable and a great size with a view of the Loch. Newly renovated house, super nice design inside. The bedding and shower were excellent. Parking was easy. This was the most comfortable B&B we’ve stayed in. Loved Shireen. She was very prompt with communication and very helpful.

Skye lodge was a great place to stay. Beautiful home and beautiful location, close to amenities and restaurants and walking distance to Dunvegan castle if you don’t fancy driving. I hope to be back in the future!

Good location and clearly recently refurbished. There was a bit of builders material stacked outside when we stayed but I'm sure that will be removed soon. It did not detract from the view and enjoyment

Good Base for Exploring Northern Isle of Skye
Nice location with water view from front. Our room faced a wooded area. Great modern recently-updated facility with 5 guest rooms. Clean and comfy, with the exception that our room was rather small for two people and we had little space for our large suitcases, placing one on the small desk and the other on a stool in a corner. No chairs to sit on and read, but we used the nice 'common room' with a sofa and good lighting. Great bath with rainhead shower. Our hosts prepared great breakfasts, and a super dinner which we pre-ordered. WiFi was free and excellent; parking right by the Lodge. Close to town of Dunvegan (quite small), with several restaurants - we ate twice at 'The Old School', a 3-min. walk away. Reservations strongly advised, food was great. Short drive (a mile or so) to Dunvegan Castle, worth a visit. The service was excellent, our hosts very friendly and helpful with suggestions on places to see.

New lodge in Dunvegan Isle of Skye
Great spot on the Isle of Skye. The managers Stuart and Shireen were very nice and attentive. Unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of the wonderful breakfast that came with the room due to our early schedules. Beautiful view of the sunset from our room. Highly recommend this little lodge if you are staying in

Wonderful view, comfort, breakfast, decor. We wish would had stayed here longer. Stuart and Shireen are fantastic hosts. We loved out stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The view from our room during sunset when the clouds broke was simply amazing. We would absolutely stay again.

Fantastic stay in Dunvegan
Newly renovated house. Our hosts, Shireen and Stuart, were very friendly and helpful. They clearly make an effort for the well-being of their guests. The lunch packs they offer are delicious. Location is just beautiful.

An absolute gem in Skye.
An absolute gem of a place: modern, clean, fabulously comfy beds and best of all, wonderful and helpful hosts: they even made me a awesome chocolate cake for my birthday all gratis!! Can’t recommend it more. And what views over the sea near Dunvegan (just a great village, with lovely restaurants and near quite stunning vistas and scenery).

Everything was perfect. Nice and clean room, friendly staff, beautiful view, super breakfast. There is also a very good restaurant near the skye lodge. Higly recommended!

On y retournera et on recommande!!!
C'est un couple jeune, dynamique et adorable qui tient ce lodge, propre, moderne, connecté. Avec netflix et douche italienne. Très bons petits déjeuners, y compris le roboratif scottish breakfast. Très jolie vue sur le loch (à l ouest).

Pour nous c'était une première dans un bed and breakfast, et c'était parfait, petit déjeuner au top, salle de bain privé et très bien placé, vous pouvez aller à pieds au restaurant old school sachant qu'ils sont peu dans la ville que 2, pensez à réserver
