We recently stayed at this hotel during our visit to Istanbul and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice. Not only did the staff (Eyup ) provide exceptional service with a warm and welcoming attitude, but they also went out of their way to assist us with the language barrier, making our stay even more enjoyable. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring the city, and the room was both comfortable and well-equipped. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul for its outstanding service and hospitality.

Friendly staff, nice modern hotel. View on the water is fantastic if not for the huge dilapidated building right opposite, but that’s hardly a hotel’s fault.

Amazing stay. We stayed for a week and never had to complain about anything. The staff from bottom to top floiw were attentive helpful and always friendly and smiling. Gerem at the reception is a Gem and assisted us with everything we needed. A big thank you to the full staff. This is my place for any future trip to istanbul. Ah forgot to mention the stunning views from 9th floor day and night.

The Halich Hotel is very clean and well kept. It is actually brand new. The hotel has its own restaurant and is very close to the waterfront, with its dining options, and just a short walk to the markets. Very nice. The real treasure about the Halich Hotel is its staff. Each member of the staff somehow exceeded the last with prompt and courteous service. I mean genuine service and attention to every detail. I have been in the hospitality business for over 20 years and I can tell you that these staff members are the real deal. Go ahead. Book this hotel and enjoy your stay. I know you will.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was in a really good place to get to Galata and to Sultanahmet by tram/walking/metro. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We really enjoyed Istanbul and the hotel was just right

While The Halich Hotel is generally good, I was surprised it has a 4 stars rating. The room I got was in a 3 stars standard - quite small and basic. I was counting on a larger and more spacious room, but got one of those "bed and a bit of space around it" rooms, which I wouldn't expect a 4 starts hotel. Also, there is no pool. The location is good, close to the Galata tower and the touristic area around it. Also close to a tram station, which is 5 stops away from the central sight-seeing area. Staff was very nice and courteous, they really go out of their way to help you. The water pressure in the shower was quite low. The techinical people checked it and said it is standard for Turkey. Since I haven't been in Turkey before I can't compare and know if that's actually true (sounds a bit weird). All in all it's a good hotel, but also a basic one, too basic compared to what I expected.

The hotel stay here was awesome! The location, staff and their helpfulness made our stay wonderful. When I return, I will book a room at the Halich for the conveniency, this hotel is by all the public transportations, and if you want a cab they’ll order you one! I loved staying there for 15 days, don’t be fooled by what you see in the area, the hotel is nice, the food is great and their service was 5 stars, it’s a great place to stay for tourists.

Zentral gelegenes Hotel im Stadtteil Galata nur ca. 100m entfernt vom Goldenen Horn und einer Fußgängerbrücke zum historischen Stadtzentrum mit seinen zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Die Zimmer sind top, ebenso wie das hoteleigenene Restaurant in der 9. Etage mit einem traumhaften Ausblick über das Goldene Horn und auf der anderen Seite den Stadtteil Galata mit dem Galataturm. Der Service im Hotel und im Restaurant ist hervorragend. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

You need 3 things for city-holiday in Istanbul. Good location for the connection to public transport, a nice room/breakfast and good service. This hotel has 4: all the first 3 in perfect form, and an extraordinary friendly team. Thank Wassim, Eda and the whole team for everything. Hope, see you again very soon.

Não gostei.
Coisas boas na estadia: localização, atendimento da recepcionista do período da manhã, do funcionário Gokhan que fica também pela manhã e da funcionária japonesa que recebe os hóspedes no café da manhã. Mais nada. O café da manhã não chega ser bom, ele é RAZOÁVEL (pouco variado, água e suco quentes). O que não gostei: muito barulho tanto no corredor como na área externa que dá pra janela, o que atrapalhou nosso descanso. Pessoal do café da manhã (principalmente uma funcionária com o cabelo avermelhado) são muito mal educados, essa do cabelo vermelho me tratou mal porque às 10:31 eu estava terminando de completar meu prato e ela queria que eu parasse porque o café da manhã estava fechado… um absurdo. O elevador é mais lento que uma tartaruga, nem pense em contar com ele se estiver com pressa. Enfim… o preço não vale o que oferece e eu não voltaria e nem indicaria para um amigo.

Zimmer war ziemlich klein, ohne irgendeinen Schrank, zur Straße hin gelegen und Tag und Nacht sehr laut. Es waren keine internationalen Tv Kanäle vorhanden. Die Minibar war mit Mineralwasser und sonst nichts bestückt ( die Preisliste sagte etwas anderes aus...)

Chambre moderne, bien équipée, avec très jolie vue sur la Corne d'Or. Petit déjeuner complet et varié. Très bon rapport qualité prix pour la demi-pension, le soir choix entre 4 menus comprenant 4 plats : soupe, salade, plat viande/pâtes et patisserie. Hôtel très bien situé qui permet à la fois de visiter les quartiers de Galata, Taksim, Galataport et également de rejoindre l'autre rive à pied pour rejoindre Sultanahmet. Et le métro se trouve au pied de l'hôtel si besoin.

Vielen dank an das superfreundliche Personal, waren sehr aufmerksam & sehr bemüht!!! Zimmer, waren ok,sauber, der Blick auf den Galataturm aus dem Zimmer, wunderschön. Die Lage ist sehr gut, man kann zu Fuß relativ viel erreichen. Top, auch die Metro Haltestelle direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite und paar Minuten Gehweg weiter auch die Straßenbahn.
