"I am a big fan of Graduate Hotels but this one was my least favorite that I have stayed in. The standard king rooms are incredibly small, like Manhattan size. If I tried to open the mini-fridge it hit the bed. The bed was a spring mattress and not very comfortable. There is only $40 valet parking (not the hotel's fault, it's a super urban area) but it could be a little cheaper. "I have been staying at this property for years. The cleanliness is welcome. I do miss the Victorian furniture that was in the parlor for years. "I had an amazing stay and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed to feel comfortable. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and made check-in and check-out effortless.

"This condo is in the heart of the city but is pretty quiet and felt pretty safe. The owner did keep it well maintained and stocked with everything we needed. The bed and the couch were comfortable too. We were attending a convention and took the easy walk there and back every day (multiple times on a couple of days). It was about a 10 to 15 minute walk on level ground with lots of shops, restaurants, and bars along the way."

This wasn’t a luxury stay. It felt like a business model built around finding new ways to charge guests after booking.
