"The property is on the older side but well maintained. The beach is steps away from Playa Ropa. The only down fall is there is no ice machine on the premises and no refrigerator in the rooms. "

"My 9 year old son and I stayed at Aura del Mar for Spring Break 2024. While the hotel is not kid focused or running over with screaming kids, it is kid friendly. The pool area is lovely, with plenty of different lounging areas in the shade. It's a bonus that the excellent and reasonably priced Bistro Del Mar is on the beach level, as they were consistently delivering food and drinks up to guests at the pool. I considered it to be in the ideal location in Zihuatanejo, as it's a 10 minute walk...
