La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orem University Pwy/Provo
6/10 Okay
"Older hotel. Definitely in need of an update. Rooms were run down and in a state of disrepair. Fine for the one night I was there but that’s about it. "
"Old gross hotel. Don’t get duped by the good reviews. Every other hotel within the vicinity would have been better I am sure. My kids wouldn’t even go to the pool because the hotel was in rough condition and dirty. Many hairs on the sheets of both beds. Sticky stuff on the walls. Breakfast was basic, not great. Elevator old and made sudden movements. Upon driving up we knew we made a bad choice. Go stay anywhere else."
"The room was filthy blood on the walls, food and mud on the floor and behind appliances. There was also a really strong mildewy smell. All the lights were not plugged in and no support on the bed. The office staff was also really grouchy like they did not want to be there!"
"Pass on this one if you arrive late. I arrived at around 8pm and no one was there. I called and texted the numbers with no indication of how long of response. After 10-15 min of no response, I went to a different hotel. I did not get an email or text with a door code. They insisted I got the email (I didn’t) and they blamed Expedia for not sharing my phone number. They refused to return my money. They called about 20 min later after I was in a new hotel and they thought it unreasonable that I wouldn’t just wait for an unknown amount of time. I cannot recommend. It looks amazing, but not worth the poor service and unhospital staff."
