"Property grew on us. When we arrived at 1:30 we were told we could check in early for $20 or wait another hour and a half. Out of principle, I opted to wait because clearly the room was ready, it was just a money grab. I don’t blame the workers bc I’m sure they are just following procedure. The rooms are clean, we used the kitchen to cook every morning, we used the grill on the roof next door, and really enjoyed the accessibility to the ferry. "the room was very adequate for my stay. I was in town for a baby shower and the hosts live right around the area so it was very convenient. I love that Top Banana was right up the street they have great coffee and great pastries. I always enjoy my stay is Seattle, and this was my first time staying in a single room style accommodation and it was just right. If I had an issue it would be that the common are was untidy, and had a bit of a smell like spoiled milk, but I didn't spend any time there...

"A wonderfully located hotel. Having no front desk and communicating by text or phone took a little getting used to. When we arrived (before the check in time) they had sent the front door code but no room number. I think you don’t get the room number until check in. Luckily our room was ready early and we got the code."

"It’s a two-story building, and I ended up staying on the lower level. Unfortunately, it smelled strongly like an old basement. Also, while sitting at the table, you can tell you were on a slanted floor. I wasn’t sure if I was losing my mind so I set a pencil on the floor and it rolled down exactly like I suspected. "I liked the place. The remodel of the basement was very well done great view of the water. But be aware it is a long way down a steep stairway. Also be aware that the place where you park is above the basement apartment down a short but fairly steep gravel path and/or another steep stairway.
