"my stay was fabulous! However the reception front desk employees are not well trained. one gentleman was rude and the female gave contradictory comments. Also guests should be briefed that they have to let front desk know if they want air conditioning. "

"Beautiful hotel with intricate interior throughout which is a wonderful setting to base a stay in Bruges. The hotel is run by John and Michael who are the most incredible hosts, with nothing too much trouble and an incredibly warm welcome. We arrived late on a Friday evening but we're greeted and shown to our room with lots of information about the city. The breakfast is excellent, with lots of choice and high quality fresh ingredients from yoghurt, fruits, granola, breads and pastries, eggs...

They offered us some solid restaurant recommendations, which was nice because there are so many options! The bar in the hotel was a nice, quiet place to end the day in a town that can be rather full of people. The breakfast room is in a lovely room downstairs and the food was all delicious. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Bruges. "

"Lovely location on the canal. We got a room looking out to the Belfry, large room with real fire and jacuzzi bath. Bar area really nice. Didn’t have breakfast. A little dusty in places and mattress far too soft. Overall enjoyed our short stay but firmer mattresses needed."

"We have given 5 stars as the hotel & location were excellent. BUT would strongly advise finding out if there's any roadworks being carried out near the hotel! We were woken both mornings at 7.30am with very loud road works outside. If we had known these works were going on we would have booked a different hotel in a quiet area. While we appreciate repair works are necessary we really feel we should have been informed prior to our stay to make a choice. We were away to relax in the peace & calm...

"Guardando le recensioni mi aspettavo un albergo più bello. Le camere sono un po' basiche con arredi abbastanza vecchi. Pensavo anche, ma questo è colpa mia, che la camera sul canale fosse praticamente sull'acqua mentre invece è una finestra (piccola) che da sulla strada che scorre parallela al canale. Abbastanza lontano dal centro. Parcheggio per la macchina 20 euro a notte"
