"Staff was friendly and the food was excellent in the restaurants. Bar was woefully under-staffed in the evenings. Beds were comfortable and ocean view decks were sheltered from the wind and of a nice size."

"When arrived room smelled a little musty. Beds very comfortable. Free coffee vouchers were nice and great view of ocean from shop. Restaurant on site was okay, slow service, breakfast good but not great, coffee lukewarm as was breakfast buffet. At lunch, fish tacos and sweet potato fries were good."

"We went to Jekyll Island for a Sisters Week and Hampton Inn did not disappoint! As soon as you stepped into the lobby, you could feel the warmth and friendliness. Every single staff member greeted us and we even developed friendships while there. The room was spacious and very clean. The pool was always attended to and it was an excellent temperature. The breakfast had lots to offer and the boardwalk to the beach was one of our favorite spots. James, the manager, gave us lots of places to explore while on the island and he was such a pleasant person to talk to. We just loved being here and want to come back."

"The room was charming, clean and comfortable. Not like your typical big-chain hotel for sure. Convenient to the lighthouse and other historical sites. Will definitely recommend to others and am already planning g a future stay. "

"I had not been informed that the building was under construction. There was a jackhammer going non stop. The shower did not get hot and it whistled. The light in the bathroom was super dim and with the shower curtain closed it was dark. The floor was as dirty. I stayed here about 10 years ago and it was great. Sad to see it so rundown."

"States for the night while traveling the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is definitely an older building, but it looks like BW is working on that. The pool area was amazing."
