The front desk person was very friendly but the hotel was less than ideal. We could only stay there for 5 hours as the conditions were less than desirable.

The room we had was poorly maintained. The lavatory faucet dripped all night and the bathroom was not well cleaned. The fiberglass tub and the sink were stained and just need someone with cleanser and some good old elbow grease to make things much more pleasant. Beds were clean and comfortable. Not bad for the price. Parking is easy, staff was friendly. They have a pool and small breakfast offerings in the morning. It is very close to the highway, so there is some traffic noise, but it wasn’t an issue for us. It was convenient when leaving. Be aware the bathroom area is small and does not offer a lot of privacy as the sink area is open. Could have been cleaner and fridge in the room did not work. We didn’t stay very long, but there is a gas station and playground nearby.

The sink was weirdly sensitive to the point where we couldn’t use it without first splashing water everywhere. The breakfast was just toast, muffins, waffles, cereal, and coffee. No eggs or sausage. The waffles were TX shaped though!

The accountant on site was talking in circles about my credit card being declined and how I should cancel my on line prepaid reservation so she could run it on my credit card. Phone randomly rings every hour or so. When asked the front deak about it, they said they have random rooms that do that and they dont have a fix besides unplug your phone. Area is close to a gas sation and wasnt to far off our route.

Their supposed hot breakfast was the waffle machine no eggs or protein. 0 heathy options all sugar. Staff was clueless couldn’t answer the simplest questions on the hotel or surrounding area. Questions like where’s the nearest gas station. Do you have a guest laundry.

Asked for a room on the first floor, which was an issue. I finally got moved from a king room on the second floor to a double queen on the first, but only after refusing to pay a $10 upcharge. The sheet on my bed was highly stained (at least I hope that it was a stain) and there was hair on the shower wall. My wife has categorically refused to return.

Bed was fantastic, but no elevator and the woman at the front desk said she could not give me a first floor room because I paid for the room on line
