Ryokan in Kabarole

Amazing stay as always. Beautiful experience swimming in the lake and seeing the different species of monkeys around the site. Excellent value.

The lodge sits above a crater lake and offers amazing views. The rooms are spacious and have views of the lake. There is no fan or air conditioning in the room and internet and charging can only be done in the lobby area. Check in was poor and confused. Near the chimps (25 min drive). Service as a whole was inconsistent.

We highly recommend BellaVista hotel – great location with amazing crater view, both from the room and of course from the 360 degree restaurant viewpoint. Hotel team is very friendly, caring, patient & attentive (they took care of our family so nicely, making us feel at home). The restaurant serves the tastiest dishes, we thought we're in an Italian restaurant. The room was very clean & comfortable. Brilliant staff, stunning location, attentive and professional. Rooms were spotless and huge. Food plentiful and was a perfect place to relax and unwind

Fabulous place just watch out google maps puts it in the wrong place only a little but enough if arriving late in the dark. Service excellent have to arrange for food to be brought in for evening meal but breakfast as good as it gets

The location was great for Fort Portal with the garden overlooking the mountains for sunset and sunrise views. The highlight was the delicious food, a great chef here. The room was spacious with outdoor seating to enjoy the views and it was clean and comfortable. You can hear music from local bars at night so earplugs might be helpful if you are a light sleeper as this is a city location. I would recommend a stay at this convenient and comfortable guesthouse.
