Very charming and in a great location. We enjoyed the front patio and views. Room was comfortable and clean, staff was nice and accommodating. Felt like we were welcome guests.

Could do better for the price.
Grounds and Building were very nice. The buffet breakfast was pretty disappointing. Beautiful dining hall but there were no dinners offered.

Vue magnifique des météores. Hotel propre et spacieux. La seule critique concerne le petit déjeuner qui reste tres basique (jus d'orange premier prix), on ne se regale pas du tout.

Wir sind zum 4. Mal in den letzten 20 Jahren in diesem Hotel. Es ist nach wie vor empfehlenswert. Sehr freundlicher Eigentümer. Die Zimmer sind einfach, sauber und ruhig. Das Frühstück sehr gut.

I needed a few days of rest and relaxation and this hotel was perfect. I had a lovely balcony to relax on and plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance. Still only five minutes from the larger town!

Nice stay and nice staff, in a great location.
Kastraki is a great place to stay, near Meteora. The room was better than I expected from the photos and we were very pleased with the stay. Some of the staff does not speak much english as some reviews say, but give then a break, you are not in England or USA, with good will and sympathy things work out very well, and the staff was always very nice. Breakfast does not offer much variety but it is good enough. Do not expect a postcard view from your windows. As everywhere in town there are houses and phone cables in front of you, but the the feeling is still remarkable.

Belle étape et beau rapport Qualité /Prix
Personnels agéables. Chambre calme, propre. donnant sur les Météores via un balcon bien équipé (table ronde + 2 chaises). Petit déjeuner très bien. Belle étape proche des Météores et des restaurants. Je recommande.

Perfect place for a 1 night visit to meteora
The hotel is ideally located for those wishing to visit meteora. It is on walking distance of the village center, where you can find a lot of restaurants. The breakfast is good, the staff helpfull. The mattress was a bit too hard for my taste.

Very comfortable, clean, & central midrange hotel.
Well situated, clean and comfortable. The hotel, although a little dated, was very good value and we were welcomed by friendly and helpful staff. The bathroom had a hardwired hairdryer , good shower (over a half-bath with built in seat), toiletries, comfortable bed and good pillows. Aircon quiet, and breakfast very nice. Good double glazing and a lovely view of the Meteora rock formations from a furnished balcony. No complaints whatsoever.

Budget-style hotel not what we expected
This hotel is not quite as advertised, it is more budget-style, tired-looking room, swimming pool not on site. Limited breakfast, there was only one slice of brown bread left so we asked for more, the answer was "no"... Location is good.

Great little hotel for the budget conscious!
Spanias is a great basic little hotel. The rooms have comfortable beds and there is a good, but basic, breakfast each morning. The staff are really helpful. The best thing is their location: what’s not to like about waking up to incredible views of Meteora? We would stay here again.

Cuidado con la reserva. No tiene piscina aunque aparezca en sus fotos. Pedimos habitación con vistas y nos colocaron en una posterior. Después de negociar con ellos, conseguimos q nos diesen lo reservado. Justificaron diciendo q si no se especifica vistas a meteora, las vistas son posteriores. Engaño.

Our stay at spanias
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel, the staff is very nice and took care of every request we had, they also gave great tips about the meteora monasteries. The breakfast was very simple but setesfing. The view from our room was amazing. The hotel is abit far from the city center but they have great restaurants in walking distance.

Nice and convenient hotel to stay to enjoy Meteora
The hotel itself is not very near to Kalambaka station, although was possible to walk to. Despite that, the hotel had a wonderful view and was close to he No. 4 bus stop where the Meteora bus stops.

Parfait pour la visites des météores
Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette hôtel pour visiter les météores L hôtel se trouve au pied de la route accédant aux différents sites Hôtel bien entretenu, seul bémol , il est indiqué une photo de piscine. Elle n est pas sur l hôtel. Il s’agit de la piscine du camping à proximité Le reste était parfait.

Liked it a lot.
Worked great for us. We liked the staff and they were truly interested in making our stay at the hotel and area a success. One surprise was that the pool pictured on their website is down the road at a campground and has a charge to use. No big deal and it is a nice pool.
