"Pre arrival communication was lacking. Checkin went very smooth, but the lead up due to my late arrival (1am) and no communication was stressful. The room was sufficient for my needs. The massage area was clean, but be very sure to Clearly Communicate the timing, style to avoid any misunderstanding and discomfort during your Massage. The shower drain was slow to drain and the hand held wand leaked. (Though that just needed tightening which I did myself.) The location is very close and convenient to old town, the walk is slightly confusing due to construction and road closures, and you need to cross very busy roadways to get there. But it is certainly doable. Besides one interaction that made me feel uncomfortable , Staff were very friendly and accommodating."

"Stayed for 2 nights. My dorm was big enough fit the bunks and some space. It was very clean . The bunk had a privacy curtain, a private lamp, an electrical socket, a mini shelf and a mini hanger for 1/2 clothing items. The bed and a medium mattress, were very comfortable. The thick duvet was great due to the AC set quite low. The AC unit was temperamental, sometimes it would randomly get warm. Guests were assigned a locker, outside of the room and could fit my backpack and trolley case. The hostel provided a key for the locker. There were shared bathrooms on the floor. The hand basins are located on the stairs landing. The basins were filthy, as were the floor mats by the basins and in the toilet/bathroom areas. Not the standard of cleanliness I expected from SE Asia. The toilets and shower rooms were okay, but in need of maintenance. The main common area was on the ground floor where there's a pool table and some games. There was also a kitchenette with tables & chairs, but the sink area and cooking facilities were filthy. I would not have used the kitchenette. Location-wise, the hotel is right in the heart of popular old town Jakarta. The staff are nice, friendly and did their best to help with any problem. The facilities & bed were good for the price. The rooms were clean comfortable, but the cleanliness of the toilets, showers, stairs and kitchen area were below par."

"This was the most amazing stay. We spotted this hotel from the outside 2 weeks earlier and reserved. It is a museum and epic adventure. The staff at every station were truly kind and concerned with our every need. The room is outstanding. Dining is wonderful. Welcome massage was divine.
