Marino Mall attached cheap food, ice creams, souvenirs ,entertainment virtual reality games centre & 9D cinema.. Staff ...fabulous! This is a great hotel offers so much to everyone ! Plus a gift of teas from their plantation on check out ."

"The was as advertised, however the restaurant and menu certainly were not 5 star. I complained to the manager regarding the lack of wine available with meals and lack of choice. This was escalated to the chairman. After much to and fro it was agreed I would receive a refund of two nights as we left early due to lack of choice and general incompetence. This refund was promised within 15 days on my payment card. Needless to say no refund and no reply to my enquiry. Their email system was also hacked. Not impressed and would not recommend. Very disappointed and not 4 star "

"This is far from a 4* hotel. The property is VERY run down and so many things are broken. It needs urgent repairs but nobody seems to be bothered. Staff at check in were not bothered at all, take it or leave it attitude. The doorman/porter was the only nice person. Check-in was at 2pm I arrived at 5pm waited for a hour and my room was still not ready. After 2 hours still nothing but nobody was bothered, so I went elsewhere. Overall worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in "

"Very excellent property with both river and ocean view. Located at close proximity to Bentota beach. Excellent customer service with courteous staff members. Special mention to the Chef Mr. Sunny Mehta who made sure we are served authentic cuisines especially for my senior aged parents. "This is a unique property. Much appreciated the serene and unhurried atmosphere. Very quiet property, the sound of the waves is the background music and ocean breeze is very nice. Staff were nice and professional. Great please to disconnect and leave your devices in the room."

"Clean rooms, friendly staff and a beautiful setting made our stay very pleasant. The food was good but lacked the local influence - propbably because the hotel caters mostly to German tourists. Despite being on the beach we opted to spend time at other baches as the ocean water directly at the hotel was not clean."
