"Disappointing Stay for the Price
We recently stayed at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa for our honeymoon, and honestly, we expected a lot more for what we paid. At nearly $800 per night, we anticipated a room and overall experience that felt luxurious and worth the price. Unfortunately, that wasn’t our experience.
The room felt pretty basic for a resort at this price point, and we were disappointed with the overall value. On top of the already expensive nightly rate, the additional resort fee made the experience feel even more overpriced.
While the location in Maui is beautiful, the cost simply didn’t match what we felt we received. For a special trip like our honeymoon, we expected a more impressive room and a better overall experience.
Overall, the resort was underwhelming for the price. It’s hard to justify spending that much per night when the accommodations feel basic and extra fees add even more to the bill. We left feeling that we paid a premium price without receiving a premium experience."
