Wonderful location for exploring the Skagen peninsula. Local train runs every 30 mins. The hotel complex is simply delightful and definitely worth considering for your stay. The houses are simply perfect. Remember to shop before you arrive, especially if coming out of season as not all local restaurants stay open in quieter times. But Skagen and Lidl etc two stops away, or think ahead and shop before you come. Little hotel snack shop has milk and snacks and some meal prep items. Houses quiet,...

We were positively surprised how nice the hotel was. The facilities, the staff, the restaurant - everything to the highest level. Thank you for this great stay!

Lovely peaceful place to stay. Quiet chalet style room. Delightful and safe. Aalbaek has a quiet charm. Lovely walks, lovely food and dunes! Breakfast was lovely and staff really cares and made sure everything topped up and as good as when service began. Highly recommend for a quiet peaceful stay.

Beautiful historic property, very friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely, cosy, spotless hotel in centre of Skagen. Rooms were very comfortable (we had 2nd floor rooms). Free parking to the rear. Breakfast was a particular highlight - the expected excellent range of bread and bread rolls as is usual in Denmark, as well as a varied, good quality and well-laid out selection of other hot and cold items. Limited reception hours but wasn’t an issue for us. Very relaxing in the low season, would highly recommend.

Stayed there as I was going Norway the next day, very peaceful place and less than 1 minute ride from FjordLine.

Near Denmark's northernmost tip, lovely hotel in a lovely little coastal town....

Restaurant closed for evening meals. But there are plenty of places to eat nearby

Extremely helpful owner, good food in the restaurant and v good breakfast

Fabulous big windows looking onto port and ships coming and going. Lovely comfy beds. Curtains could do with blackouts but actually helped me get up! Lovely walk to Palm beach and Strandby one day. Then caught 973x just down from hotel to Saeby. Steadi restaurant amazing. Not much in town apart from port but smaller villages nearby definitely worth a visit. Hotel is perfectly priced and a fabulous option for Fred.
