"What a beautiful place to spend 2 days with my husband. We will definitely return its luxury and a stunning hotel. We stayed in a private villa next to the jungle and river. Heated pool along with beautiful bedroom. Food was amazing. Staff the best."
The Sankara Suites & Villas
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay at Sankara Resorts was absolutely wonderful! This beautiful boutique hotel is surrounded by gorgeous, lush tropical gardens that create such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. We stayed in a lovely villa with our own private patio and pool, which made our experience feel even more special. The entire staff was exceptional! Everyone we encountered was incredibly kind, welcoming, thoughtful, and accommodating. Their genuine hospitality really made us feel cared for throughout our stay. One of the absolute highlights of our experience was our driver, Bagus! From the very first day, he was kind, funny, thoughtful, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our time in Bali memorable. What impressed us most was his attention to detail. He remembered everyone's dietary restrictions from our very first day together, and we never had to remind him! He also made fantastic restaurant recommendations that accommodated everyone's needs. Every restaurant he chose was wonderful! Bagus was incredibly flexible and always happy to accommodate our plans, making sightseeing and exploring Bali completely stress-free. His wonderful sense of humour, genuine kindness, and thoughtful nature made spending time with him an absolute pleasure. We were so impressed with Bagus that we ended up booking him for our entire stay! He truly made our Bali experience that much more special. We would highly recommend Sankara Resorts to anyone visiting Ubud"

The Udaya Resorts and Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Absolutely beautiful resort, just a few minutes from central Ubud. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. Fantastic breakfast and afternoon tea included in stay. Pool was great. The aesthetic of the whole place was superb. Only one minor issue - despite choosing to “pay at the property” when booking on Expedia, and having a booking confirmation that specifically said payment would be due “on arrival,” Udaya tried to charge my credit card five days in advance. My credit card company declined the charge, at which point Udaya insisted I pay using their payment link. Having had my CC info stolen on a prior trip, I did not want to do this. They eventually relented, but only after several days of back and forth. They and Expedia need to clarify the policy. But don’t let that stop you from staying here — Udaya is a great find!"
