"Stayed in the women's dorm. Common area spaces (particularly the bathroom and showers) could be kept a little bit cleaner in my opinion, but everything else was spectacular. For the most part everyone was super kind and respectful - there was a moment where some Australian girls were arguing in the dorm past quiet hours lol but otherwise everyone was very quiet! The private bed area and linens were spotless and cozy. I had enough room to store my bookbag and duffel bag there during the duration...

Good location close to Ebisu and Shibuya train stations - Ebisu a lot quieter and easier to navigate with luggage if you are staying here, but also in a fairly quiet spot and very friendly and helpful staff. "Imano is a cozy, well run hostel that is impeccably clean. The beds are comfortable. The women only floor is secured with a lovely common area and a fridge. Imano was the first hostel i ever visited 3 years ago and i will gladly visit again. With the money you save staying here you can head to the super sento (3 mins walk) and relax after the day walking Tokyo. Closest station exit is Shinjuku sanchome E1 which also has an elevator (close to golden gai). "
