"If you're looking for an onsen experience this is the place! We were welcomed as we drove up the windy mountain road to the hotel. The check in experience was calm and efficient. Dinner, breakfast and private bath times chosen. The baths are wonderfull, overlooking the river and with views down the forested valley. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, although our kids sadly didn't feel adventurous enough. It was a truly magical experience on our first trip to Japan."

"The property was a bit tired, carpet stained, but the room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. The communal bath on the first floor was an unexpected treat. The breakfast was delicious offering a huge variety of offerings that were excellent, including an array of fresh fruits. There was an extra charge of 1100 yen for the breakfast— a bargain!"

"建物はかなり古いが部屋は広く快適ではあった。夕食は外に食べに行ったので分からないが、朝ごはんは最上階で眺めの良いところでのビュッフェを楽しむことができた。庭と蓼科湖の散策は便利で楽しかった。 納得できなかったのは、夏のプールをが楽しみにしていたのに、チェックインの時間とプール使用可能時間と、チェックアウト時間とプール使用時間及びお風呂使用可能時間が合わず、結局プールは断念しました。水着持って行ったのにがっかりです。"
