"Lovely clean room with great view, very friendly & helpful staff, very nice breakfast!"

"We were a bit disappointed with this. I’d say the pictures on the site are very flattering. We arrived in the evening to lots of building and maintenance materials outside the front and in the entrance area. Not the best start. The member of staff who met us was pleasant and helpful. The room was only ok, clean enough but not great. It was just for one stopover for an early flight and the location for that purpose is good. I’ve tried to be very fair and even in this review, but this place is not...

"Lovely little inn in very quiet location (though easy to get to Halifax). Room was great size, good facilities, bed was comfy! We had a nice view of a sheep field. Cooked breakfast was only available Friday - Sunday, but we were provided with a little cool bag of breakfast items which was unexpected bonus. We only stayed one night for an event in Halifax, but would definitely stay again and for longer."

"The plough inn was very helpful when I booked the wrong night and needed to change it, the plough could have just kept the money but agreed to the change. The room and bed were comfortable, the shower however didn’t work properly, it was a small matter overall in our stay. Breakfast was excellent staff very helpful."

"Very friendly staff, the food was amazing, outdoor space was brilliant and overall the decor is done to a very good standard."

"The whole site is beautifully kept wonderful place to relax and enjoy the facilities"

"Just what we needed. Thank you 😊"

"Everthing spot on great staff banging breakfast"

"A real gem in the dales - lovely rooms super friendly team and food fabulous . Location picture postcard just lovely"

"There was nothing but pleasure in our stay. If there was one disappointment it was the lack of black pudding in our otherwise excellent breakfasts"

"Absolutely highly recommend this place, felt very homely, spacious room, very quiet, not too far to drive to any of the tourist spots"

"Fantastic place. Easy to park. Great customer service, awesome food, good size room and extremely comfortable bed. Only stayed 1 night but will happily recommend and will stay again."
