The retreat was lovely & peaceful. The huts are really quirky & a great experience. We got a very warm welcome, even from red the turkey! Would 100% recommend & would definitely go back.

Hoffman Haus is located in a quiet area yet easy to walk to the main street with all the restaurants, shops etc.
We were held up on our journey and arrived too late for a personal check-in but easily sorted by a phone call.
Our little suite was beautifully furnished and cosy, and what a delight to have breakfast delivered in a hamper to your door each morning.Would definitely recommend.

Lovely owners, spacious room and very spacious bathroom. Delicious gelato was a lovely additional touch. Thoroughly recommend this property if you’re in Fredericksburg

The cottages and setting were lovely but we felt we were penalised for staying here Mon/Tuesday at their cheaper rate. Check-in was instructions stuck to a door, although almost all cottages were empty we were put in the one by the staff/deliveries car park, our first breakfast had no pastry and no contact was made by a a single person there. We had a problem and had to go to the shop for help as reception was locked. The lady in the shop couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful.

Beautiful place to stay! The ladies on reception were incredibly friendly and kind—nothing was ever too much trouble.
A real highlight was the picnic basket delivered to our room every morning, which was absolutely delicious. The pool area was stunning, with fresh towels provided daily, and there was a lovely open fire nearby where you could sit in the evening and truly relax.
