"Small town feeling in bigger city! Very friendly and accommodating. Beds were clean and comfy, bath sparkling. Breakfast was somewhat limited but sufficient with waffles and cereal, assortment of wonderful scones, doughnuts and muffins. Great place and value for the price!"

"Wonderful! Very upscale feel, very clean, and cozy. The pool and hot tub are beautiful, sauna is a 10/10. The rooms are very well appointed. I even love the carpeting. Hotel carpet can be so yucky, but here it is elegance in every area you see. The bathrooms feel high end, super clean, really nice fixtures, Kohler toilets! Seriously, this place is the best. The free standing tub and fireplace in our room is just icing on the cake. Its not a hotel, its a 5 star experience. Love the fires outside by the water. Wonderful experience all around. We will be back."

"It's an old hotel, but it's really well-cleaned. The staff is also friendly. However, perhaps because the building is old, the soundproofing is a bit disappointing. I can hear the sound of the door and voices from the front room next door."

"The hotel is nice, but starting to look a little dated. One of the elevators was out of order, so only one small elevator was in use during out 2 night stay. The rooms were updated, but still showed a bit of wear and tear. One of the outlets in the bathroom shorted out my hair dryer and then the outlet wouldn't work after that, even after pressing the reset button. The room doors didn't block out much noise, we could hear doors opening and shutting around us throughout the morning/evening hours quite clearly. The staff was very friendly though and overall we would stay again, given the fair pricing of the room and the proximity of being able to walk right downtown to the main drag of bars and shops."

"We've stayed at the cherry tree inn multiple times. The last time was in 2024. This time it seems like the property is run down and needs a little refresh. I know they just went through a renovation in 2020 or 2021 but that was 5 to 6 years ago and it really seems run down. The staff is always pleasant and nice."
