"This hotel is an older property that is in midst of upgrades/ remodeling. We didn't have a remodeled room, but the room was comfortable and clean. The staff was amazing."

"The hotel was very nice and the lady that checked us in was so nice and friendly. It’s been a while since I’ve been greeted so kindly by hotel staff. My only complaint is there are no electric vehicle chargers. A few low cost level 2 (overnight) chargers would pay for themselves in no time in added bookings. I always see them used way more frequently than more expensive amenities such as fitness centers for example. It’s interesting to me that SD tourism advertises so much in states with large EV adoption rates, yet they take no steps to accommodate 1/3 of the traveling population of those states. Overall my stay far exceeded my expectations."

"Great hotel less than 10 min drive to Mount Rushmore. Game room was my 8 year old’s favorite and the various Teddy Roosevelt quotes throughout the hotel was pretty awesome"

"Everything was clean, spacious and recently modeled. Only draw back was that the whole hotel smelled oddly of Nair. Not sure where it was coming from but it lasted our entire stay."
