At least they allowed us with an early check in. Do not book all inclusive formula since it's a cheat. "An absolutely amazing stay! The rooms were really nice and comfortable. The place is right on the beach (literally, you step onto sand once you enter through the gate). And I can not say enough about how thoughtful, considerate, and kind ALL of the staff are - (for example, they stood by our chairs when we left our towels etc to go into the ocean without us asking or anything!). Definitely will be recommending to all my friends."

The staff at La Perla were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was very clean but basic and more African style rather than modern which for me was the attraction. The pool area is extremely clean and there’s plenty of sun beds both around it and on the beach. Food is the restaurant is very decent and doesn’t cost the earth. The view of the beach from the restaurant is amazing. The resort doesn’t sell alcohol but the restaurant next door does if that’s important to you.

We just came back from spending 10 days at the Ocean Paradise Resort. Really pleased overall. Our room was large and furnished in an African colonial style with a four poster bed. We really liked our room. Decent a/c and not a single mosquito bite in 10 days. They come and spray your room every night when you are at dinner. Beautiful, lush, green grounds and all the staff are lovely, at reception, in the bars, in the restaurant and the animations team (Hassan was fab) and guest relations...

I just cannot fault this hotel in any way (except exchange rates at the cashier). Wifi for such a large complex was always on, food was lovely with a range of restaurants. I've had so many memories made here...from dolphins seen from my room, sunsets from my room, terrace bed, drinks galore, birds tweeting all the time and magnificent pools. A superb all round resort perfect for honeymoon, beach, watersports and luxury. Oh please keep the desserts coming!
