"It is difficult to fault Kilkea Castle as every aspect of the property impressed. The little things therefore matter and small faults in maintenance, which should be dealt with in a luxury property, tend to stand out more. However, that is digging into the fine detail. So, first impressions carried through from first stepping inside with a warm welcome, the engaging housekeeping staff and superbly professional dining/breakfast room staff. On site activities are a nice touch and worth looking at....

"We had a great stay at the club house hotel! At first glance we were worried about the parking, but upon check in they directed us to the easy and safe parking lot behind the hotel! It was an easy walk up to our room, we were in the brand new part of the hotel. The room was beautiful and fresh, and had a great new AC system we appreciated since we visited during a March heatwave. "Lovely stay at lord Beganals. The property is fabulous tastefully decorated and beautiful fresh flowers in the lobby. Staff are very friendly special mention to Karen and Kay breakfast team !! Food in restaurant also delicious and freshly prepared very efficient even though it was very busy Sleepy little village with lovely walk along the river If you want to make this place even more special consider adding a spa or pool.
