"A charming and old hotel on beautiful grounds and walkable to Glendalough Cathedral. Hotel needs serious updates and maintenance. Broken coffee machines, fire extinguishers hanging on by a thread to the wall. Staff (other than a bartender) were not impressive and food was meh. Staff is worked hard."

"Recently stayed here as a group of 16 people for a Hen Party. This is possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in - from the minute you are greeted through the door you're met with friendly and helpful staff, as well as beautiful interior design. The rooms were lovely, very clean and everything felt brand new - there was even a clothes steamer, hair dryer (with diffuser attachment for curly hair!) and a mini fridge included in the room. "Quaint little hotel. Very close to the train! That is a plus. Wish I had taken the train to Monaco for the day. Did not realize it until we took the train to Italy and back. Oh well now we know. Not much is happening on that end. On the other hand, there is so much going on. Be ready for some walking."
