it’s the best way for them to improve.
the hotel staff will be attentive (or at least available when I need them) and courteous. Huge hotel no-nos for me consist of rude, unavailable, and/or disinterested staff, dirty linens and/or silverware, and poorly maintained bathrooms. I think that these are basic things that are easy to rectify!

This was a lovely one-night stay and a lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable, with EXTREMELY nice staff and beautiful views of the Red Sea. There were only minor negatives, which means I wouldn't stay for more than a day or two, but it is fine for a short-term stay. First, it's located in a very beautiful area with absolutely nothing to do. This isn't the hotel's fault, the area never developed as planned. But the hotel itself has no amenities - they have a men's gym, but nothing for women. Since you're in the middle of nowhere, it would be nice to have a spa or lounge or something. If you do want to go to the small grocery store or limited nearby restaurants, the only transportation is an expensive hotel taxi, which can cost you about $100 for a mile or two. They also didn't have a coffee machine, which made it seem like a small motel rather than a 5-star hotel (they said the only way to get a coffee machine was to upgrade to an executive suite - weird in a modern expensive hotel). Finally, the bathroom had no fan or ventilation, so it stayed foggy and wet from our showers for the entire time we were there - if we opened the door it made the rest of the room foggy. This is fine for two days, but more than that and it would have been annoying. Other than these things, loved the experience. The food was absolutely delicious, much better than hotel food. Even though we stayed in Ramadan, the room service was fully available and great. Would stay again for a short term visit.

Expected better from 5 stars hotel
As i used to expect from Bay La Sun , they have checked me in with dirty room ( not been cleaned since previous guest ), bathroom found dirty , bad smell and women pads found in the trash. Housekeeping service is really terrible and badly need improvements .

Wheb I booked, I wrote that I want a high floor room, but they gave me in the first floor. After talking with them they gave me another room in the floor no. 3 but I was waiting them for 1 hour. In addition, the room view was bad. They said the room has views to the city but the view wasn't. I will not deal with this hotel again.

The hotel is brand new hotel. Available underground parking. Most of the staff are helpful. The receptionists need more training to deal with the guests in a proper way and up to the hotel level. The room is comfortable. The room was clean but the towels were not. Unfortunately the noise from the phones in the reception is audible inside the room. There are multiple joyful activities within walking distance from the hotel. The swimming pool is in a good condition.

Staff are very nice and the room was clean and tidy. We had a room with see view on high floor. There was one strange thing, the mini bar at the room was free off charge which was awesome. For the breakfast menu, don't expect to much.

Bay la sun is the only hotel in KAEC,I had to do business there,and brought my family with me. We booked through hotels.com,for payment upon check in as the only option.First sign of trouble was when they sent a message that they needed to charge the first night,and that they needed another card??I contacted them and cleared the issue with reservations. When we arrived,the reception said that the previous rate does not apply,and that we should pay a hefty extra charge because it is a season!!Although our booking clearly said price match guaranteed.ALSO the breakfast inclusion is for adults only and the kids are extra charge!! When the night manger finally came, he and the receptionist spoke in their native tongue,which we found to be very unprofessional,you either speak in the local language or in English. After 50 minutes of waiting in the lobby,with 2 sleepy kids,we were finally allowed to go to our rooms. Only after I showed them the email that I sent to hotels.com customer service!If we only knew that that was all it took! The hotel itself is modern and clean, not a beachfront hotel as we expected,about 20-30 minutes on foot.Has a small gym for ladies,full gym,swimming pool,and a spa for gentleman.The breakfast is decent, we tried the dinner once,good choices,and nice staff. The only complaint about the property is that it is a 7 story building,with 2 small elevators only.One broke down on our last day, and we got stuck it with one staff, who got us out.
