"This property is very well kept considering it is old. The breakfast was good i.e. waffles, muffins, eggs, sausage, fruit, juices, coffee. Overall, our room was clean. AC worked well with lots of humidity which was great for me. Great staff! Dear Staff: I forget to mention that there is leak around the bathroom sink. When the faucet is turned on, water appears on the shelf beneath it."

"The only thing I didn’t like was that I wasn’t able to use the pool. The water looked cloudy and there were some white particles floating in it. Other than that, I had a good experience at the hotel."

"Clean and nice-smelling room! Hallways were warm but that is OK, the A/C worked great in the room! Ice machine on 2nd floor didn't work but just used the one on the floor above."

"Exceptionally well renovated, old hotel! It’s a delightfully quirky gem, walls artfully festooned with prints and paintings that you actually want to stop and look at. The owner obviously put their heart and soul into the Faust. The rooms are on the small side, but plush and as comfortable as any hotel I’ve stayed in (which are many). The bathrooms are top-of-the-line. Great little bar/restaurant, and lobby. As important are the staff. Great kudos to one and all as the friendliest, most delightful crew I’ve ever met at a hotel. Is it perfect? Almost. If it were, I wouldn’t have loved it as much!"
