"hotel staff were friendly and checkin was easy. We were offered a very early checkin in a room on the ground floor which we took because we were tired after a long overnight flight. the staff asked if we were ok with the ground floor room and when i questioned why they asked, they replied that some people just dont like being on the ground floor. We didnt know that the ground floor room windows were grilled and backed onto the alley way behind. The area is a little sketchy so i did feel a little unsafe. I think the rooms on the other levels would have been quite nice and offered more light. The hotel was convenient to some eating places. There is a security guard outside the hotel- freindly guy who did his job really well. Checkin and check out were quick and easy. Shuttle to the pier was wonderful."

"Comfortable room, excellent location. Full kitchen. Small bathrooms, by American standards. Can be a bit noise at night. Secure access. Older building but well maintained."
The Boylston Hotel Capitol Hill

"I love the location and price paid. Staff kept the hotel clean and stocked. I loved the murals along the staircase and how close food and bars were to the hotel. My only complaint if you can call it that is I think access cards would have been handier than having to punch in a long code for the room but other than that I would stay here again. Also there are no elevators just stairs so take your time climbing, especially if you have lots of luggage."

"This hotel was perfectly located in the downtown core. Close to everything. The front desk line staff were exceptional. Our room was clean and had very nice view out the window. Really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend."
