"Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad, personeel over het algemeen zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, kamers ruim en prettig. Ontbijt buffet zeer uitgebreid en lekker,voldoende plek, ook buiten. Zwembad schoon en verfrissend. Enige nadeel in Griekenland vonden wij dat er buiten en vaak ook binnen gerookt wordt."

"We stayed one night before catching an early (6am) flight. The apartment was perfect for our needs. Central so easy to access the old town of Heraklion, and to find restaurants in easy walking distance. The ride to the airport was only about 11 or 12 minutes. It is central, and so there was street noise for much of the night so if you want quiet choose somewhere else."

"We stayed at the Pela Mare Hotel for two nights, and it was a wonderful choice. We arrived late for check-in, and the manager, Giorgos, was waiting for us. He showed us to our room and even helped with our heavy luggage. The hotel is located on the hill. "The room was clean and towels and linen changed every other day. The staff were amazing and helpful. We didn’t use the pool area as was up and out every morning.
