"What a delightful place to stay! Cannot praise the staff enough! They were all so helpful, friendly and accomodating. Some English speaking staff, who were honestly the best we met in our two week stay in Japan. "５月に家族で利用して、今回は年寄りの両親の宿として予約しました。本人らいわく「年を取ると宿で出される料理が多すぎる。せっかく温泉街を宿から出ずに楽しめない。」とのこと。外食で好きな物を好きな量で楽しめて、夜の温泉街を散策できたと、この宿のコンセプトに合った利用方法でした。日曜日の夜に宿泊したので、月曜日の朝食を頼もうとしたらカフェが休業でした。もちろん、朝市もやっていません。そのため、部屋の冷蔵庫に牛乳とシリアルをサービスして頂きました。ありがとうございました。宿は改装されたようで、とにかく快適です。宿に求めることが、人と違うと思いますが、私の旅のスタイルには最適です。"

"The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier.
