"The hotel was amazing ,the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the room was very well kept and modern and so was the whole hotel! The breakfast was good quality and very traditional and of course a friendly environment. Thank you Scandic! We’ll come here again!"

"Perfect location for a first-time visit to Stockholm as it's close to all the sites, main city disctricts and transport options. Our room was at the back of the building which proved a blessing as it was wonderfully quiet, even with the windows open. We a had a suite; it was a decent size with good clothes storage, good sound-proofing, and curtains that created a proper black-out effect - all things that sound obvious, but hotels rarely seem to get right. What let the hotel down, in our opinion, was the service. The staff were all very friendly and polite, but just not overly helpful. We arrived well after check-in time but our room wasn't ready so we had to sit and wait with no explanation. We weren't told where any of the amenities were (spa, gym, etc). Having asked if we had been to Stockholm before ('no') there was no offer of help to explain what's around the hotel, or arrange tours, or suggest sites we might want to see while we're there. There was confusion over whether breakfast was included in our booking - the front desk said yes, the staff in the restaurant said no - turns out it wasn't, and we paid an eye-watering SEK450 a head for a very modest buffet at the Veranda. We didn't need housekeeping every day, but when they came we got very different service. One day we arrived back to find a lovely fruit basket, but it got taken away the next day before we'd had chance to eat most of it. All in all, lovely big, clean, well-located hotel let down by service."

"THIS HOTEL WAS SO GREAT FOR A SOLO TRAVELER!!! THE ARLANDA TRAIN THAT COMES FROL THE AIRPORT IS LITERALLY DOWNSTAIRS!! I was literally in the airport in 20. The commute was not a hassle. This hotel is also close to the bus and train & close to alot of tourist attractions!"
