"The property was a little run down, could use a little sprucing up. The other inns we stayed out along our travels were super cute with flowers and landscaping, made it feel more cozy and nice. We did enjoy using the gazebo patio area in the evening to have a cocktail as the evening was winding down. That space could be really cute with a tiny bit of TLC. "Expedia’s booking process was confusing and misleading, causing me to accidentally book a hotel room for the wrong week. The website made it appear as though I was booking for the current week, but after completing the reservation, I realized the dates were incorrect.
I contacted both Expedia and the hotel on the very same day I made the reservation, hoping to simply change the dates or cancel the booking. Unfortunately, both refused to help, stating that the reservation was non-refundable and...
"This place is amazing. It’s not an older property that’s been refreshed, they tore it down to the studs and recreated a 50’s motel. It’s all fresh and very clean with modern touches. Beautiful drive in and out. Friendly owners and staff. Absolute gem."
"Stayed for one night. Nice, clean, large room with small kitchenette. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was quite small.
Our room was in the back so didn’t hear the traffic on roadway.
Disappointed that the breakfast ended at 9:00, would have like at least 9:30.

"The location is perfect. Although we didn’t take the time there are walking trails through wooded and seaside marsh trails just across the road. The drain in the shower was clogged so we showered in a couple inches of water. The baseboards and fixtures also looked pretty old and worn. They need sprucing up. Staff was kind and helpful."
