Quite far to get to from Stonetown but a stunning location. It’s boutique hotel so not the facilities of a mega resort but the local friendly staff arranged a couple of excellent things for me and I really enjoyed the intimate atmosphere. Great food too with sea views. I also enjoyed a massaged in a small hut by the sea so could hear the surf.

We chose to stay here after reading many great reviews and it didn't disappoint. Great food, amazing views of the beach and the sea and the owners were really helpful and accommodating. The wifi and air con both worked well. Swimming at high tide at sunset was absolutely idyllic.

We really looked forward to staying at the Zanzibar Queen given other reviews. It didnt disappoint. Fantastic location in beautifully kept grounds. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. The pool area was clean and enticing. There was also boules, volleyball and badminton available to keep the body exercised. As well as table tennis and darts. The restaurant was superb. This was a few days away after doing some fairly demanding charity work in the Maasai Mara. The hotel was recommended by some friends and it did not disappoint. We arrived late but the Assistant Manager was there to greet us and there was a light meal in our room. Small and classy property where you are a name not a number. Staff went out of their way to please and hotel prices for food and drink excellent. I travelled with two teenagers and location on a great beach with a water sports centre on site could not have been better

Incredible staff nothing was too much to ensure my stay was amazing. The room was fantastic but would have liked not to have ask for the fridge or other listed things that weren’t in the room.! Main issue would be the lack of transport for solo travellers, the opportunity is there but not explored as we would love to book trips but are excluded The location may not be suitable for many but for my stay it was perfect

Incredible stay! The room was lovely and such a quiet and peaceful location, right on the beach. The best part was the staff, they went above and beyond at every opportunity to make our stay as special as possible. We will be back!

We had an amazing stay at this hotel in Zanzibar and would highly recommend it, especially for families or anyone looking for a relaxed break rather than the more touristy feel of some of the other beaches and resorts. The hotel is beautifully located close to the beach, with each room being very spacious and easily accessible. The breakfast buffet is vast and really good with crepes and omelettes made to order! Wonderful! The staff can't do enough for you. The hotel is clean, the rooms are lovely, the view spectacular. From Yacinta at the front desk, to Agustino, Kelvin and Alfred in the bar and restaurant, to Chef Ali and the delicious food, every one really cared for us and wanted to make sure we were having a great time. Even the groundsmen and the housekeepers had a lovely smile and ask about your day, honestly I can't speak highly enough. A great experience, wish we didnt have to leave!

Incredibly family-friendly hotel. Fantastic service - from the head chef to the front house manager to the housekeepers, everyone working to make sure you got what you needed. As a family with 3 small children we very much appreciated this level of attention. Drawbacks were a mediocre kids club and lots of stairs up and down to the rooms. Food and entertainment were abundant and good, but not great. Was fully booked for most of the time we were there but didn't feel crowded.

Excellent option, friendly and extremely helpful staff. The only observation is that I found there to be too many Indian food options for both lunch and dinner and I missed more grilled food.

Tulia Zanzibar Unique Beach Resort.. UNIQUE being the operative word. This resort is by far one of a kind and it completely exceeded mine and my partners expectations.
