Would definitely recommend to bring your own snacks and drinks as well as food if you are a picky eater or have dietary restrictions as the menu is very limited and there are only certain hours to order food. "Right next to Relax Bay beach which was never too crowded. Place was bigger than expected with a small kitchen. Nice and clean. Very quiet at night so slept great. Unfortunately I never got the check in email, but manager was easy to reach over WhatsApp and showed up just a few minutes later to help me so all good. "We really enjoyed our time in Koh Lanta, and the Long Beach Chalet was incredible. While we did leave the resort for some activities, you could easily stay here and have everything you need. Amazing breakfast, massage services, pools, and location on the beach. Lym’s restaurant was very good and reasonably priced. We really loved our stay here!"

"Our stay at Layana was the highlight of our trip to Thailand. This was a family holiday for us with our adult daughters and it did not disappoint. The staff are incredible with lots of lovely little touches during our stay to make you feel special and well taken care of. We did the snorkel trip which took me well out of my comfort zone as I am not great on water but the team took such great care of us. If you are not sure about the trip don't hesitate... the Island picnic is outstanding and the snorkelling is next level with so much variety. We felt sad to leave this little spot of paradise. "

Excellent stay

"We stayed at Avani+ Koh Lanta for 3 nights in a pool villa and overall had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for unwinding. Our private pool villa was clean, spacious, and very comfortable — just what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. A special mention to the buggy service, which was super quick every time we called — rarely had to wait more than a couple of minutes. The pool bar was great, and the happy hour from 5–6 PM was a nice touch. That said, when it gets busy, it can be a little hard to get your drinks in time before happy hour ends. We also found the pool bar closed quite early in the evening — not sure if that’s just during low season or standard for the resort. Food at the resort was good, though a bit on the expensive side — which is expected for a resort. In our opinion, the menu could benefit from a bit more variety, especially since there’s only one restaurant and the location is quite secluded from other dining options. Despite these small points, we really enjoyed our time here. The peaceful setting, friendly service, and overall vibe made it a memorable stay. We’d happily come back again! "

"The Alama was great all around. Some hotels claim to be something they are not but the Alama was what is said to be and more. The pool was amazing. The view can’t be beat. The staff is always curious trusting and helpful. We immediately extended our stay from 2 to 5 nights and are sad to leave "
