"The house was a lovely old Cretan house renovated to a high standard, and Popi was a wonderful, helpful, and knowledgeable host - really friendly and full of suggestions of where to go next. You will need to have a car to get around as it is not at all central, and do not expect a modern building - but it was full of character and the aircon worked very well, so in my eyes it was perfect! I would happily stay here again, and hope to do so some day in the coming years."

"Great spot! Just a short, easy walk into the city center. Room was wonderful & parking was very convenient. When you are just arriving, the surrounding area might look a bit different than expected, but it seemed very safe and once you walk into the city it is very nice and cute. "The rooms we got were really nice, very clean and comfortable. The airport noise can be loud, but it didn't really bother us. Very close to the airport, which made it convenient for our early morning flight. "

Our hotel wasn't necessarily *close* to all the food/shopping or the fort, but it was within a reasonable walk that felt safe to us. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing any information we needed and helping us set up a taxi the next morning.
