"Silavadee is a small boutique resort when compared with many of the other high end resorts on Koh Samui. We had a 2BR villa with a pool for 2couples and enjoyed the privacy that it offered. The staff were all very helpful and kind. The breakfast buffet and cook to order options were incredible. We also had dinner at the restaurant a couple of nights and enjoyed many wonderful Thai dishes that we can’t find at home."

The resort feels more suited for families with kids rather than couples. Breakfast was average, and the service did not match 5-star standards—staff at live counters asked us to come back instead of serving at the table. The Indian buffet night was below average. "This is a gem of a hotel. This is the second time I’ve stayed here (once in the 3-floor duplex & once in the 3rd floor Superior Studio), & I plan to always stay here when I visit Samui.
