"Food was varied and plenty at every meal. The staff is kind and goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need.the views and the balcony are spectacular. The only negatives: beaches are tiny and very rocky. Sea is crystal clear and refreshing but you have to walk down hills and mountains to reach the beaches and it can be challenging for small children or older people. Beaches are public and you have to pay 10 euros for a bed. In the hotel, Ac is perfect. However, you cannot put toilet paper in the toilet which was super inconvenient and unsanitary. The rooms are carved into the mountain which creates a romantic atmosphere but after a week up and down stairs and narrow passages, I do not mind leaving. Overall, it was a nice stay but would not come back."

"Breakfast was really good. Plenty of choices & really pleasant staff. Check in was a breeze & he provided lots of good information for touring around including how far away (time wise) places were As a Canadian travelling overseas best purchase was a multi plug power bar (EU style) & then able to plug a converter into that - outlets were higher up on the wall & less weight balancing on the plug in."

"We had a great stay at Chrisanthi Villas! Everything was excellent from beginning to the end. The attention of the host was excellent, with great suggestions to eat as, the Pizza Antonio. Delicious pizza by the way! The villa was sparkling clean. And with beautiful details. The welcome pack was great in variety! The villa was big enough for a family of 4. 2 adults and 2 children. The swimming pool was espetacular! The view from the garden is just breathtaking! There's also a gas BBQ, to use. Which we did! The pool is cleaned every day in the morning. The villa is equipped with all you need to stay. Theres WiFi in the villa too. Also there's car park available for all 4 villas. I could easily spend more then the 4 days we did. The villa is located 15/20 minutes from Heraklion town centre, by car. There's 3 restaurants, just around 8 minutes walking from the villa... And a beach also, but keep in mind that the beach is small, so gets packed easily. My children already asked to return to Crete, specifically to Chrisanthi Villas! 😊 Thank you for everything! "Our stay at Maison Meltem in Crete was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hosts, who truly made us feel like part of their family. Their kindness and genuine hospitality made our time here really great. The property itself is beautiful — stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with every comfort in mind. But the real magic is in the breathtaking view — overlooking the sea, it’s simply spectacular. We spent hours just admiring the scenery from the terrace, it felt like paradise!"
