"A gorgeous place to stay. We loved our time at Aquila and felt so relaxed and refreshed being there. The room was clean and cosy, especially with the fire on. The amenities were fantastic and the bottle of bubbly readily enjoyed! We both found the bed to be comfortable and had a real quality night's sleep. Couldn't fault it, thank you for having us! "

In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. "Unfortunately, there were a number of issues that affected our experience. The lamp beside the bed was not working, and the bathroom light was hanging out, which was both inconvenient and concerning. We also found that a pill box had been left in a drawer, which suggests the room was not thoroughly checked prior to our arrival. Lots of dust behind the bed was not good for my allergies. In addition, there was no milk provided, the kitchen had limited plates and cutlery, and there was no spa...

"Very nice modern hotel with very spacious rooms. It has a separate seating area as well as desk & bed. Was very convenient for us as we were attending a wedding which was very nearby."
