"The MOTEL was beyond dirty. We checked in for one night bc we were attending a concert at Notre Dame. Front desk staff was very polite and nice. The room.... the bed closest to the window was covered in mold spores from the air unit. The bathroom and the towels had several small curly black hairs on the floor and in the folded "clean towels". The second room with bunk beds, had a previous guest's child ipad/tablet just laying on the floor near the window curtains. If ANYONE had run a vacuum, they would have found it. When brought to their attention, we were told we could vacate the room for a deep clean, but we were getting ready for the concert. (They were sold out, so another room was not available)
The front desk staff apologized and assured me that some form of discount/compensation would be issued.
Fast forward, manger just sent me an email offering me 25,000 choice hotel points. Um....no thanks"
