We had a great time in Tropical Islands! It is understaffed and people there work very hard but were alsways friendly. We looked up their salaries and where shocked how little they make. 50% of the profit goes to a privat equity firm, which means some rich people get richer and probably don't care about long lines at the checkin or technical stuff not working right. Also, the rain forest looks like it needs some love. We loved the atmosphere. We had a very special time.

Overall a really fantastic stay and can’t wait to return. When we arrived it was very difficult to establish where to check in as multiple check-in locations were closed. Eventually when we did check in, they will never check you in early - they even suggest you park your car at the lodge, which is strange as you can see your lodge available and ready to use but the key doesn’t work till 3pm. Then when it was 3pm we walked back to the lodge only from the hangar to find the key didn’t work so had to walk back to the desk (15 minute walk each way) whilst my wife had to feed our crying baby on the steps of the lodge. Other than that, it’s such a cool place and our lodge was lovely. The restaurant in the tiki bar, was absolutely fantastic and was way above our expectations. The wristband system for paying for everything is dangerously easy! As mentioned, we travelled with a baby and aside from the check-in process, it really was perfect as the water is a lovely temperature and no danger of being cold out of the water in tropical climate of the hangar. We had Amazonian lodge with a sauna and it was brilliant. As stated before it’s a 10-15 minute walk which is fine (as long as your key works..!)

The amenities are superb! We enjoyed our stay and will be coming back. 2 things that need to improve though, the shuttle bus which brings us to our accommodation, can it be more frequently(its running every 30mins and always full). Another thing is the waiting tent for the shuttle bus, can it be covered rather than just a tent. It was so windy all throughout our stay and everybody are so cold.

What I liked: I loved everything about the property! It had a great layout, spacious rooms, and a lovely outdoor area. What was unique: The unique feature for me was the overall vibe and design—it felt really modern yet cozy. What I didn’t like: The only downside was the grill; it didn’t seem as functional or appealing as the rest of the property.

We are extremely disappointed with our stay at Tropical Islands. We booked a five-day holiday, but from the very first day we encountered a number of serious issues that have negatively affected our entire experience. The check-in process was incredibly disorganized. We had to wait approximately one hour just to check in, which is completely unacceptable, especially when travelling with two young children. Throughout our stay, we have also experienced poor customer service on several occasions. The staff often appeared uninterested, irritated, and as though they were tired of their jobs. Unfortunately, this has been a recurring experience. In addition, many of the arcade machines are out of order, which is very disappointing considering they are advertised as part of the entertainment available to guests. To make matters worse, there have been daily problems with the parking payment system. Despite paying €10 for parking, the system has repeatedly caused long queues at the exit, forcing us to wait up to 40 minutes just to leave the car park. We have travelled to many places over the years, but we have never experienced such poor organisation and disappointing service. This is especially surprising for a destination that promotes itself as a premium family resort.

Arrived an hour before check in time at 3 pm. 5-6 people were in line before us. Waited 50 min for us to reach the desk. The check in process is terrible. The place we slept was clean and nice. But the description didn't say anything about you having to bring everything with you. From soap to do the dishes, brushes, toiletpaper, sheets to dry it with etc. Would have been nice for it to be a buy-in possibility or at least be informed about that the house contained beds and thats about it :D . I wrote the place before arriving asking if bed linen etc were incl which it was. But no mention about anything else. The shop on site was supposed to be open but was closed all 4 days we were there along with all the outdoor activities at the resort. But the Tropical Island was Fun! Kids 10 and 12 enjoyed it and want to visit again!

Absolutely 0 amenities in the room. Not even hand soap. The on site store was closed so we couldnt buy anything either. Had to travel by train to a bearbetning city. We got 2 rolls of toilet paper in the house for a 3 day visit with 6 people. The floors weren’t cleaned.
